COMMENTS
G. 469. Written down 1921. 115a-f are variants. This slått goes by a great many names. At Voss it is called "Vossetussa", "Tussebrurferdæ", "Røven". In Valdres it is also called "Søtebroki åt Netrøsti" (Netrøst is a farm i Vang) and "Båtlåten", (the boat slått), recalling the story of the bridal couple who were drowned when their boat capsized. B.s. Trad. Valdres (after I. Rengjestad and Olav Moe). The rhyme occurs in a number of variants. In Sogn it is also found as a children's dance (after L. Trædal, jr, B.s.). See also B.s., Trad., Voss, p. 15.
