B. 2139. Written down in 1947. Hauge had learnt this slått from his mother, who used to play it on a langleik. She won first prize at the first competition for old langleik playing at Fagernes in Valdres in 1884. Hauge's father had told him that the Devil had played this slått, sitting on a barrel of beer. On seeing him a man who had gone down into the cellar to tap beer, came running up the stairs with the spigot in his hand, so that the beer poured out of the barrel. When he had plucked up courage to investigate, the man on the barrel had vanished. B.s. Tradisjon Valdres, p. 151.
